Founded by Kretena “Tena” Hunter, Essential River Services is built on over 20 years of medical experience, including 15 years as a licensed nurse. Her background spans hospital care, long-term care, hospice, and home health, bringing real-world expertise and practical insight into every class.
Since 2020, Tena has served as a certified instructor through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), and ASHI, delivering high-quality CPR and safety training across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
